TOM Ince has admitted he feels “empty” after Blackpool’s failure to win back a place in the Premier League.
But he believes the experience of losing at Wembley will help him grow as a player and ensure he comes back stronger.
Ince said: “At the moment you just feel empty because a whole season’s work has gone up in smoke.
“But we have to be proud of what we have done and we have to take great pride in this club because in the last few years there have been ups and downs.
“Losing at Wembley is a massive down but we have to be proud of getting as far as we did and proud of the football we played.
“There is tremendous talent in this team. The gaffer insists we play a certain style of football, and you could see at times at Wembley that even West Ham – one of the strongest teams in the division – couldn’t handle us.
“The whole experience of walking out in that final will improve me as a player. So will being involved in the whole season.
“I played away games at massive stadiums. “As a young lad you can’t really get any better experience than that.
“The to get to Wembley and grab a goal – on an individual basis that is great but as a club we are down.
“However, we aren’t down and out. After a bit of a break, we will be looking to bounce back next season.”

The biggest compliment that can be paid is that West Ham put three men on him at times. I think he'll be awesome next season.
The Sky's the limit, for Tom. He's very grounded, with a talent that's greater than his ego. He is definitely going places - hopefully, initially with Blackpool FC? Woy - I hope you're keeping an eye on this young man? He is after all, future England material.
